Pole position winner Scott Dixon is the favorite to capture the 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500.
Dixon, who won the 2003 IndyCar Series championship, is 5-2 at Bodog to win the biggest event of the 2008 IndyCar Series season, which takes place May 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
BetUS also has Dixon as the favorite, but at slightly higher odds of +300.
One of 11 drivers who qualified last weekend, Dixon, of Chip Ganassi Racing, has a victory this season and is second to points leader Helio Castroneves. Dixon’s four-lap average of 226.366 mph helped grab the first two spots for Chip Ganassi, along with teammate and 2005 winner Dan Wheldon.
Wheldon is right behind at 3-1 odds at Bodog, while Castroneves is 5-1.
After Chip Ganassi Racing was Team Penske's tandem of two-time Indy winner Castroneves and newcomer Ryan Briscoe, who is at 10-1.
Andretti Green Racing won the next three spots with Danica Patrick, Tony Kanaan and Marco Andretti, while rookie Hideki Mutoh was ninth. Panther Racing's Vitor Meira (eighth) earned his fourth top-eight berth in six starts.
Kanaan is 5-1, Andretti is 8-1, and Patrick is 9-1.
Vision Racing's Ed Carpenter and Luczo Dragon Racing's Tomas Scheckter rounded out the field and bumped heralded Newman/Haas/Lanigan driver Graham Rahal.
Sunday's rained-out second round of qualifying leaves Rahal — the 19-year-old son of 1986 Indy winner Bobby Rahal — among the many drivers trying to fill the remaining 22 spots on Saturday.
The race starts at noon ET on May 25 and can be seen on ABC.
